Two Easy Methods to Install Google Play on Fire Tablet
Getting Google Play on Fire tablet can be done with two methods. First, you need to install some APK files on the tablet. Second, you may run a script from PC. Both ways are simple, though the first one is way simpler than the second. Without going any further, check out the following methods and instructions.
1. Install Google Play Store from the tablet
The first method requires you to install Google Play Store app from the tablet. It works well for Fire OS 5.3.1.1 and above. Before starting the installation, you have to check the version of your device. Go to Settings, then select Device Options. Choose System Updates and see the version number on your screen. If your device meets the requirement, follow the instructions below.
Before downloading, you need to let the device allow app installation from other sources. Visit Settings and choose Security. Enable ‘Apps from Unknown Sources’. When the device is ready, download four .APK files using Silk browser. This browser should be available on your Fire tablet. The files you need to download include Google Play Store APK, Google Play Services APK, Google Services Framework APK, and Google Account Manager APK. Simply enter the keywords on your browser and there will be a lot of sites offering these files. During the download, your tablet will show a popup saying that the file can harm the device. Click OK. Wait until the four files are completely downloaded. Once downloaded, open file manager named Docs on your Fire tablet. Choose Local Storage, then select Download. You will see download files. Tap a file to install and repeat until all the downloaded files are installed. Make sure to install the files with this order: Google Account Manager – Google Services Framework – Google Play Services – Google Play Store. Once the installation is done, you will see Google Play Store on your home screen. Tap to open and sign in to your Google account. The apps need to update themselves so it may not work properly in the beginning. When everything is fine, try to download apps such as YouTube or Chrome.
