How to remove a kiosk from Windows 11
As mentioned above, users can easily remove a kiosk from Windows. If you’re currently using a kiosk account on your Windows 11 machine, the steps below showed you how to remove it. Windows 11 has a centralized location for the majority of its settings. From system configurations to creating new users and updating Windows, all can be done from its Settings app. To get to System Settings, you can use the Windows key + I shortcut or click on Start ==> Settings as shown in the image below: Alternatively, you can use the search box on the taskbar and search for Settings. Then select to open it. Windows Settings pane should look similar to the image below. In Windows Settings, click Accounts> Family & other users tile to expand it. On the Family & other users settings pane, under Set up a kiosk, click the Active tile as highlighted below to expand it. On the next screen, you’ll see the app that is currently active in kiosk mode. Select it to expand. On the expanded tile, click the Remove kiosk button as highlighted below. On the pop window, click the Remove button to remove the kiosk set up from Windows 11. That should do it.
